Bumbung Stadium Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Runtuh
Bumbung Stadium Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin runtuh pada pagi ini kira-kira jam 9.30 pagi tadi. Orang ramai yang berada di tempat berhampiran Stadium Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin itu menyangkakan bunyi yang mereka dengar pada pagi tadi itu adalah bunyi kapal terbang.
Stadium Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin yang runtuh di Gong Badak di sini, hampir musnah apabila kira-kira 60 peratus struktur bahagian bumbungnya runtuh. Pihak Polis masih lagi menyiasat punca sebenar keruntuhan yang berlaku di Stadium Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin itu.
Stadium Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin yang berharga RM270 juta dirasmikan oleh Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin pada 10 Mei tahun lepas. Stadium berkenaan menjadi mercu tanda Terengganu dan gelanggang bagi beberapa acara utama pada Sukan Malaysia (Sukma) 2008 dan perlawanan bola sepak Liga Super.
